| Özet |
| Tarek is an endemic species peculiar to Lake Van basin. Twenty five percent of our total inland water fisheries is derived from this fish. Besides its economical and ecological importance; it also brings touristic value to Van and neighborhood districts with its reproduction migration which occurs every year intensively during May and June. In this study; past, present and also operations to be done and precautions to be taken for future of this important fish species are discussed besides its general features. |
