Özet
The aim of this research to understand social network sites’ effects on reading habit of teacher candidates. 20 females and 9 males who studied several grades in Kastamonu University composed participant group. In collecting the data correspondence technique was used. Questionnaire forms were prepared by researchers to be asked each of teacher candidates. Questionnaire forms include four questions; social network sites’ effects on daily life, what kind of shares made by the participants, whom to followed by the participants and social network sites’ effects on reading habit of teacher candidates. Descriptive analysis was conducted on data obtained form the questionnaire forms. According the findings of this research, teacher candidates’ reading habit has strengthened with social network sites.
