| Özet |
| This study was conducted to determine the flora of Anatolian Chestnut (Castanea sativa Mill.) forests in Bozkurt and Abana, located within the boundaries of Kastamonu. Besides chestnut, nectar and pollen plants, which are suitable for beekeeping, have been identified in the region. As a result of the study, 216 taxa belonging to 63 families were determined. The phytogeographic regions of the taxa were as follows: 86 (39.8%) Euro-Siberian, 17 (7.9%) Mediterranean, and 113 (52.3%) multiregional or phytogeographically unknown. It was concluded that 195 (90%) of the identified taxa were bee plants in the studied region. The most attractive plants for bees were determined as Fabaceae (29 taxa), Asteraceae (23 taxa), Lamiaceae (13 taxa) and Rosaceae (11 taxa). |
