Özet
Various Mycoplasma species which causes illness at poultry exist. Of the all Mycoplasma spp. Mycoplasma gallisepticum (M. gallisepticum) and Mycoplasma synoviae (M. synoviae) are the most important species and take place in the OIE list. Due to vertical transmission of M. gallisepticum and M. synoviae, they do have an importance at breeder flocks. Urgent protection and control measurements have to be applied according to the results of the diagnosis of rapid and reliable test due to the vertical transmission and Mycoplasma-free required breeder flocks. In this study, Mycoplasma infections diagnosed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and agent isolation at the breeder flocks which are controlled by Poultry Diagnosis Laboratory of Central Veterinary Control and Research Institute were introduced.
