| This study; Monthly sampling was carried out at three (3) stations determined in Tekirler Dam (Nallıhan-Ankara) built on Gelence Creek between February 2016 and January 2017. Tekirler Dam Lake was constructed in 2001 to meet the irrigation water needs of the agricultural lands around it. The main objectives of this study are to observe the monthly and seasonal changes in the physicochemical parameters and heavy metal content measured in Tekirler Dam Lake, to determine the water quality properties of the dam and the suitability level for aquatic life and also to evaluate it according to the standards determined by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Turkish Surface Water Quality Management Regulation (SWQMR).
