Özet
A hemangioma is a benign lesion of blood vessels or vascular elements. Most oral and oropharyngeal hemangiomas tend to occur in the tongue and the floor of the mouth. In most cases, the diagnosis of hemangioma is based on clinical evaluation. The occurance of hemangioma in the tonsillar tissue is rare. We report the case of a 32-year-old man suffering from chronic tonsillitis. The physical examination showed that a hemangioma tissue was localized in the right tonsillar area. Localized tumors of tonsil, or chronic tonsillitis with recurrent exacerbations are tonsillectomy indications. In this case, by the using Snare method, tonsils were excised together with the hemangioma tissue.
