Özet
In its most general definition, corruption is the misuse of public power for private purposes. Although corruption varies from country to country, their implementation is similar. There are different types of corruption, such as bribery, extortion, ambition (tribute), embezzlement, fraud, vote trading, rent-seeking, partisanship, and the use of public resources and property for personal interests. In addition, corruption has economic, political, legal and socio-cultural determinants. The aim of the study is to investigate the effects of economic, political and social development indicators on corruption with the data for the period 2010-2018 in 63 non-democratic countries using panel-based qualitative preference method. According to the research results, it was concluded that development indicators are more effective at lower levels of corruption and is higher likely to effect the lower level of corruption.
